Be My Friend On Goodreads!

At the weekend, I finally passed a landmark in my quest to be more organised and you know, actually know what books I own.  I finished cataloguing everything on goodreads, something I have been working on for months.  And by everything, I mean everything - kindle books, netgalley requests and all.

Now that I am all set up, I would love it if you hopped over to my profile and added me as a friend.  I love seeing all the reading updates and little comments on goodreads.  Just don't spend too much time looking the size of my to-read shelf!

  1. Lord have mercy! I admire your ability to be so organized. I've been trying to catalog my library for about 10 years, and still haven't managed it. Of course, it doesn't help that I've moved several times, had to couch surf with all belongings in storage for about two years, and keep buying/receiving NEW books! But still, all I can say is, "we are not worthy!"

    1. I predict that having everything catalogued will last only a few weeks, until I get some new books and forget to add them and then soon it will spiral out of control again. But for now at least, I am organised :)

    1. Goodreads is a lot of fun isn't it? The reccomendations section is not good for my wishlist though!

    1. Goodreads satisfies my desire to have everything organised. I also like the recommendations tailored to the books I have read, although my wishlist is definitely spiralling out of control now ..

  5. Good for you! My to-read list keeps sneaking up on 1,000, but I don't care as it is much better than the post-it notes I used to leave random places with book titles on them.

This is a great idea, but I have the opposite problem - way more GoodReads friends than blog readers. Hmm....

    1. The sad thing is, every book on my to-read list I own - the wishlist is separate. I have no idea how long that is...

  7. Done. Only think you have to do now is accept my friendship (sounds so wrong, said like that). I like Goodreads. Even moreso since It started giving me suggestions. Because it's incredibly precise as suggesting things you're going to love.

    1. The recommendations is my favourite part, I've found them very precise too and read some great books through it :)

  8. Was already a friend on there but I did sneak a look at the to read list! Apparently to my good reads we have 90% books in common
