2 weeks old - eyes not open yet.
Three weeks.
Four and a half weeks, just after we had chosen him out of the litter as the one we wanted. He loves to cuddle.
Four and a half weeks
Four and a half weeks. He hasn't kept his blue eyes, they are greeny-brown now.
Seven weeks - a few days after we brought him home.
Seven weeks. Our bed is his favourite place to settle for a long sleep.
Eight weeks. He is at that very cute stage where everything is new and exciting and he wants to play all of the time.
Joseph is definitely not a book fan. He likes to play in my stacks of books and climb the bookcases, but if I am reading something and not paying him attention, he will attack the book to get it out of his way!
So, so, so, so cute - I love the occasional non-book related post as well. I posted yesterday about my dog who gets along so well with my cat, and I just love those moments where we all take some time to share about personal things we love. Your kitten is so adorable, and I can't wait to see more pictures of him as he continues to grow - I've never had a kitten before! My cat was a stray and I started to take care of him at around a year old - he's fabulous and funny!
ReplyDeleteNaw he's beautiful! Cats rock! I have a sweet little part burmese cat, Saphie, who loves to eat books. I don't mind having a few teeth marks in my books, I think it makes them look loved :-)
ReplyDeleteOh my, he's so cute and little!! I have a cat at home too... he's so big now and cuddly and spoilt and I love him to pieces!
ReplyDeleteOh my! He's adorable! He reminds me of my youngest cat, Lily. We found her when she was only weeks old too. And she does the same thing when I'm reading-too cute!
ReplyDeleteHave a great day!

@Mummazappa - Joseph likes to chew books too. I would rather him chew them than his other favourite thing to chew, my hand!
ReplyDelete@Playing Librarian - I have a feeling my cat is going to turn out spoiled too :)
That is a cute kitty if I've ever seen one. I just hope he's not going to change into a fat, low-rent murderer like all the other kitties I knew before.
ReplyDeleteOh wow! I'm a dog lover myself but he is 100% adorable! I love the progression of the pictures, too!
ReplyDeleteAnd maybe he's just a harsh book critic - you could try reading something a book about cats and see if he reacts the same way. ;)
Ooooo I am in love.
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely kitten, please share more photos with us as he grows.
My cats (long since past) did not like it if I read, whilst they sat with me. Made a point of getting in the way!
Awwww...I've been a cat lover my entire life. It's always fun to start with the smallest and watch them grow and develop their dignified personalities :)
ReplyDeleteJoseph is soooo cute! My daughter and I have enjoyed looking at the pics.

Ben - the murderous, haughty side of cats is what I love about them. I won't allow him to become fat thouhgh!
ReplyDeleteLisa - I'll have to try that! I've always been a 100% cat lover but lately I'm coming round to the idea of dogs. When we can afford to actually buy a house with a garden, we will get a puppy.
Oh my gosh he is so cute!!! You are lucky!
