(Not a real surprise, as...I enjoyed this book, too. (Not a real surprise, as it was nominated for the Hugo this year.)<br /><br />I liked Adoulla's world-weary but determined attitude, and the way he played off the young fanaticism of Raseed, as well as his unconventional romance with Miri.
