Even better if you can buy the BBC series that goes with it.Sam (Tiny Library)https://www.blogger.com/profile/16375434438465319913noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6637440206562155541.post-10587565342075503922010-12-18T17:04:38.763+00:002010-12-18T17:04:38.763+00:00Would love to read some more about Egypt! I'm looking forward to reading the Stacy Schiff biography of Cleopatra too, I've heard it is supposed to be very good.

Hope you get a chance to visit the British Museum one day. I live in London, so have been lots of times, and it really is amazing. I recently received Duane Roller's Cleopatra biography, and, while I haven't finished, there are definitely sections that contain WAY too much detail. I'd like to take a peak at Stacy Schiff's newest Cleopatra biography and compare the two. Thanks for the review. I've always loved Egypt mythology and so forth- the British Museum- and a few museums, here in Atlanta, are the closest I've come to experiencing the cultural practices from that period. I went to an exhibit a few years ago, I believe it was the mummy of Ramesses (or his perhpas his descendents?)at Emory University. Anyway, interesting. Bummer it wasn't that entertaining!Bethhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05572049077903171939noreply@blogger.com
